The school is laid out in two premises. The pre-primary and Primary Sections right from the beginning continues to function from Amar Bhuvan, occupying 6 ground floor converted class rooms, and the High School has a separate five storeyed building, adequately spaced and ventilated.
The Society has been constantly updating their system of imparting education by both evolving and adopting new methodologies in keeping with developments on educational and non educational fronts. In all our efforts, our primary focus has always been Child development in its entirety. Realising two important factors viz, the background of the student community we are catering to and on the other, growing development in the field of education, methods of teaching, aspirations of the parents, societal as well as country’s requirements, we have been evolving and adapting to various needs while complying with regulatory and state guidelines. In sum, Education is Child Centered with a primary focus on students holistic development of the student making him inquisitive, empowering him to enable him to take up the societal and other challenges.
In the year 2004, Play School, classes were introduced where Play Way method, and activity based method of teaching was followed.
In the year 2011, Smart Class was introduced and each Class room is provided with Digital Board with Smart Class Equipment’s, with the contents getting updated at regular intervals.
Also there is a separate Computer Laboratory where Computer classes are held for students of Std III to VIII, in which subjects like Coding,Scratch,Python . Robotics and Artificificial Intelligence are also on the verge of being introduced shortly.
We have a well equipped Science Laboratory with all the latest apparatus being made available. The laboratory caters to the increasing practical learning involved at various levels to facilitate and carry our experiments and project work in Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
Our Library is a store house of knowledge. There is a wide range of books on variety of subjects ranging from academics, fiction and periodicals of topical interest. The library is well stocked and updated with new arrivals, including the additions of Encyclopedia.
The School with a view to encourage holistic and vedic learning and to develop arts and culture has been focussing on Music,Dance,Yoga, and various other sports activities encouraging students to participate in various competitive events.
Attendance System: –
We also have walkthrough attendance system. A system which can track the student’s attendance, send messages to parents when their ward enters the school premises or leaves for the day. By this way we are very much alert about the security of the students.
CCTV and Security: –
The premises of PWS is under CCTV surveillance to reinforce high security standards of the students, staff & other resources with security personnel round the clock.
Fire Safety: –
The school is also equipped with Fire Alarm systems. Annual maintenance and inspection of all the components of the systems are carried out regularly. Fire Extinguishers are regularly refilled. Thus all the requisite safety measures are in place. Periodic mock fire drills are also conducted for the students and teachers.
